59 years ago, on August 6th, 1965, President Lyndon Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act into law, a landmark piece of legislation aimed at prohibiting racial discrimination in voting. As bad actors continue to attack voting access, we must join together to protect our voting rights and freedoms.
