Nigel Bristow:
On the Campaign Trail
As I've travelled the state and district, I've taken the time to meet voters and residents to hear their concerns. As your Representative in Congress, I'll be keeping these community connections open - because my job is to make your life better. Period. Regardless of outcome, I plan to work to defend our values and freedoms in Washington and here at home.
Fighting for Families
As a father, I know that North Carolinian families need more support. Child care costs have risen, and tax credits expire. In office, I plan to co-author and support bills that will make it easier for all of us.
Involved & Informed
I've been part of our community on many levels, from former substitute teacher, detective, police officer, and more - our district has varied needs and needs representation that can hear out varied and diverse communities.
Supporting Our Citizens
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and as Chairman of New Horizons Life & Family Services, I strongly support the rights of women and men to live peacefully and without threat of violence.
Speaking with the Community
As a former educator, detective, and more, I've been in churches, convention centers, parks, community centers, and homes to hear your concerns and work on community-oriented solutions that make your life easier.
Focused on Our Economy
If you can't pay your rent, it doesn't matter how employed our state is - that doesn't keep your wallet full. As a working dad, I pledge to back bills that will help your family through the month - and save for the future.
Lifelong Democratic and Community Values
As an elected delegate to the 2024 Democratic National Convention, it was my honor and privilege to stand up for North Carolinians to select Kamala Harris as our candidate for the White House.
